Game UX/UI design
As the project is still under wraps, I can't share specific details until its official release. However, the ten-week journey of crafting a Mixed Reality game aimed at inspiring children's faith in healthcare has been remarkable.
In Spring 2023, I led the UX and Interaction design for this project, in collaboration with Phoebe Health and SCADpro, focusing on Medical Education Recruitment. My work included thorough research, UI development, and designing a user-friendly recruitment process. The design process took me from initial conceptual sketches to the final, development-ready assets.
Together, we bridged the gap between Generation Alpha's concerns and the anticipations of medical professionals.
Students are not being exposed to health care career opportunities soon enough. Therefore, interest levels are lowered and health care workers are crucially needed. We were asked to research, develop and design a tangible mobile experience for middle school students that motivates them to consider a career in healthcare.
We co-created with members of Phoebe Health to ensure the experience was easy to implement, impactful, and engaging for the next generation of healthcare workers.
1. Conduct complex and in-depth research to understand the motivations and needs of students regarding career choices in healthcare.
2. Lead the UI and interaction design for a game on VR for Meta Quest, aligning goals and technical aspects through continuous communication and weekly syncs.
3. Enhance expertise in user research and feedback analysis by working closely with a UX researcher to inform the design strategy.
4. Present and lead the evaluation criteria matrix to clients, host the feedback sessions, facilitate the review process, and gain more valuable insights.
Overall, I was delighted that the client was so positive about the results of the first stage of this meaningful project. Hearing their thoughts was very heartwarming.
